Start with the pest you are seeing.
Our general pest service covers ants, spiders, crickets, silverfish and earwigs. Tell us where you are seeing activity, how long it has been happening and whether the problem is indoors, outdoors or both. That gives us a useful starting point for the visit.
A one time service is available for ants and spiders. Monthly and bi-monthly plans are also available. Ask us which schedule fits your property and what each visit would cover.
What general pest service covers
- Ants, including the trails that lead to food.
- Spiders, indoors and around the outside of the building.
- Crickets.
- Silverfish.
- Earwigs.
- Occasional invaders such as centipedes, sowbugs, pill bugs and millipedes. Ask about these when you call.
Evict uses eco-conscious products where they fit the problem. Ask about the products proposed for your property.
Signs it is time to call
- Ant trails that come back after you wipe the counter.
- Webs or spiders in corners, garages, eaves and window frames.
- Silverfish in bathrooms, closets or boxes of paper.
- Crickets you can hear at night but cannot find.
- Earwigs indoors during hot, dry weather.
One visit or a plan
A one time service fits a single problem, such as an ant trail or a spider issue. A monthly or bi-monthly plan is for properties that want the pests kept out through the year. Ants in particular rebuild a colony quickly, which is why regular service exists. Chris and the team will tell you which one makes sense after they see the property.
What happens at the visit
- You call or text, describe the problem and set a time.
- The technician looks at where the pests get in and where they nest, and asks what you have seen before.
- You hear what was found and what treatment is recommended.
- You get an estimate before any work starts.
- You get advice on keeping the pests from coming back.
What affects the price
Evict looks at the property first and goes over pricing before any work starts. Evict's own pest guide lists what moves the price: the pest, how far the activity has spread, the treatment it calls for, how many visits it will take and the size of the property. A small home with an ant trail and a restaurant kitchen are different jobs.

Questions about this service
Can I arrange a single visit?
Yes. Evict offers one time services for ants and spiders, along with monthly and bi-monthly general service plans.
How do I prepare for indoor spider treatment?
Clear loose items from floors, put food and toiletries away, and read the spider preparation sheet. Confirm access and drying time with Evict before the visit.
Do I need to leave during treatment?
It depends on the service. The spider and silverfish sheet lists about two and a half hours away while the treatment dries. Confirm the timing for your visit with Evict.
Do you treat businesses?
Yes. Evict works with homes and businesses in Long Beach and nearby cities. Commercial properties often need a regular plan rather than a single visit.
What if I am not sure what the pest is?
Describe what you are seeing, or browse the pest library. You do not need to name the pest before you call.
Which pests are not part of general service?
Rodents, termites, bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas and ticks, mosquitoes, and bee or wasp nests each have their own service. See the services page.
