What mosquito service covers
- Treatment of the places mosquitoes rest during the day: shrubs, dense plants, ivy and shaded corners.
- A look at where water collects and breeds mosquitoes, such as plant saucers, gutters, buckets, bird baths and low spots.
- Ask Evict whether a mosquito bait station is available and appropriate for your yard.
- A schedule that fits the property. Ask whether a single treatment or regular service through the warm months makes sense.
Signs it is time to call
- Bites every evening on the patio or in the yard.
- Mosquitoes indoors, which usually means they are breeding close to the house.
- Standing water you cannot drain, such as a fountain, a pond or a low spot after watering.
- Dense plants along the fence line where mosquitoes rest during the day.
What you can do between visits
- Tip out standing water once a week: saucers, buckets, toys, tarps and wheelbarrows.
- Keep gutters clear so water does not sit.
- Change bird bath water often.
- Trim dense plants and keep the lawn cut so mosquitoes have less shade to rest in.
What affects the price
Evict looks at the property first and goes over pricing before any work starts. Evict's own pest guide lists what moves the price: the pest, how far the activity has spread, the treatment it calls for, how many visits it will take and the size of the property. For mosquitoes that means the size of the yard, how much dense planting there is, whether a bait station is part of the plan and how often you want service.

A small station placed in the yard that draws mosquitoes in and treats them. Evict can tell you whether one fits your property and where it would go.
